Personalized 1:1 tutoring · In person in IL & TX · Online
We take time to understand what's really going on, hand-match a student with an experienced educator, and build the subject knowledge, test strategy, and learning and life skills underneath the grade, in one steady relationship.
In person in and around Chicago, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio, including the surrounding suburbs, plus live online sessions.
What parents see
Most families come to us for one subject or one test. Usually there's a learning habit underneath - how a student plans, studies, starts, or recovers. The right educator handles the assignment in front of them and strengthens that process at the same time.

Tutoring in the age of AI
AI tools are genuinely useful for studying. What they can't provide is the human part of learning: diagnosing the real problem, holding a student accountable, building motivation, and teaching the habits that make a student independent.

Tutoring in the age of AI
AI tools can explain a concept, check a solution, and generate practice questions in seconds. We think that's great - and we teach students to use them well. But a correct explanation was never the hard part of learning. The hard part is knowing what you don't understand, starting when you'd rather not, and building the habits that make you independent. That's human work.
The short answer
Is a tutor still worth it when students have AI? For many students, yes. AI is a strong study tool, but it responds to whatever a student asks. A tutor notices what they don't ask - the gap behind the wrong answer, the habit behind the missed deadline, the anxiety behind the blank page - and builds skills, accountability, and confidence over time.
