A polynomial is an expression consisting of one or more variables and coefficients, only non-negative integer exponents, and only the operations of addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

A proper understanding of how to factor and solve polynomials are necessary to pass these courses and assessments. Use this guide to help determine which technique to use when.
